I can't believe I just stumbled on this site! I clicked on this recording here... and even though 23 years has passed, it was just like yesterday! Went w/ a friend, didn't know much what the Dead was about... but nothing had ever felt so right b4 as did that day.. being there... was so awesome! Musta seen somewhere between 60 -70 shows between then and when Jerry died.. may he RIP... thanks for sharing your recording... good job!

This show is a Dead DVD. View from the Vault 4. Hands down my favorite Shakedown. Bob is the Shit in Looks Like Rain.

The Dead at the Big A! Phil trys to recreate a Southern California earthquake with his sonic bombs on Shakedown Street!
Over all a fun show. The Dead always seemed to love playing in SoCal.
